How surfboard deck grips work
Simply put, a surfboard grip is there to give you some extra traction beyond just sex wax. Grips help you anchor your foot on the back of the board as you push through turns. Surfboard tail pads can come in a variety of shapes and materials. While a one-piece tail pad is the easiest to install, two or three-piece surf pads can give you more freedom to customise your traction points on the shape of your board.
