Please note the delivery times provided below are an estimate only and can vary throughout the year depending on border closures, courier capacity, and shipping location. Wherever there are significant or unexpected delays our customer service team will notify you by email.

Customers in Metro areas on the East Coast will generally receive their order within in 1-3 business days. The rest of Australia will generally receive their orders within 3-14 business days. If you would like an exact estimated time of arrival, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Packaging

Parcels are packaged in Hero Packaging, which are compostable and made from plant-based materials. They look and feel like plastic and are just as sturdy as plastic satchels. To read more about Hero Packaging click here.

Surfboards are packed using recycled packaging and boxes. We take great care in packing boards, to ensure they arrive in brand new condition to you. Typically this involves a thick foam or several layers of bubble wrap around the boards, with extra wrapping and protection on the most commonly damaged areas – the rails and nose and tail of the board.

We also use thick Styrofoam as a buffer at the top and bottom of boards. Boards are clearly marked as fragile with bright orange fragile tape, and we flag the contents to our couriers to ensure extra care is taken wherever possible to prevent damage. 

If your surfboard arrives damaged please notify us by email (contact@naturalnecessity.com.au) as soon as possible, and include pictures of the damage. We offer several options for damaged boards, and our customer service team is always happy to help sort out these issues as they arise.
