- Water shoes — Also known as reef booties, wetsuit slippers or water socks, these low-cut wetsuit shoes are made of thin neoprene and a rubberised sole. Their main goal is to protect the soles of your feet from sharp surfaces, e.g. reefs, rocks, and marine life.
