Most ranges start from around 6 to 12 months and run through to teen sizes up to around 14 to 16 years. Sizing varies by brand, so check the size chart against your child's height and weight.

How should a kids wetsuit fit? 

Snug all over with no loose pockets at the lower back, knees or armpits. If you're between sizes, sizing down is usually the better call for warmth.

What is the difference between a kids springsuit and a steamer? 

A springsuit has short sleeves and short legs for warm conditions. A steamer is full-coverage and built for cold water and year-round use.

What thickness wetsuit does my child need? 

A 2mm or 3/2 covers spring, autumn and most Australian winters. A 4/3 is worth considering for kids in cold southern states in mid-winter. A 1mm or 2mm springsuit is usually enough for summer.
