The Witchstick, a design that genuinely feels like 2 boards in one, almost like magic. Let's start with why this shape was created. These days we see a lot of wafer thin, banana rocker high performance longboards, or chunky flat classic logs. In other words, longboards that excel in extremes (pumping surf or tiny peelers). We asked the question, what happened to the common man?! We wanted a board that excels in every day surf, a board that will trim and glide like a log on the small days, but refined enough it won't have you blowing every take off when the waves start to hollow out. The result is quite frankly the funnest longboard we've ever ridden. Excellent paddling and glide allows you to stroke into unbroken waves, then step back and feel the tight turning and control of a modern longboard.

WHO IS THIS BOARD FOR?
Intermediate to advanced riders looking for a longboard that covers the widest range of conditions. We've seen women and friends around 55kg love riding this in mellow conditions, and heavier men easily maintaining control and getting tubed in solid swells. With the flatter more advanced nose rocker, this isn't an ideal beginner board unless you know you'll be surfing primarily very chill conditions (think noosa and byron style point breaks on high tide).

CONSTRUCTION
Let's face it, everyone loves the classic look of foam and fiberglass, but no one likes the poor longevity. With this construction we aim for the best of both worlds by combining modern materials with a classic finish. The core is made from individually moulded, high density EPS. Rare in the industry and a big advantage because this type of EPS doesn't absorb water in a hurry if there's ever damage. The lamination is epoxy fiberglass with an additional biaxial deck patch, this helps to prevent heel dents from the heavy footed individuals out there. Finally, three parallel wood stringers provide increased resistance to breaking.

So there you have it, the look of a traditional glass board but with much greater longevity, a winning combination in our book.

Founded in 1972, reborn in 2025

Honey Surf

Honey Surf was one of Australia's first iconic surf labels. Founded in 1972 when two brothers began making beeswax based surfboard wax in an old dairy shed out the back of Gerringong, on the south coast of NSW. They went onto sell over 2M bars of wax during the 70's and sponsor the current world champion Nat Young.

Now, almost 50 years later, two young brothers from the same family are bringing the Honey Surf label back to life. Still the original, still based in Gerringong.
