First up… what's a softboard? 

Softboards are boards with a soft, forgiving deck, built for safety, durability and easy float. These days, softboards are far more than a beginner's board. Drag's a Wollongong outfit. Just up the road from good ol’ Gerringong. Their range has four boards.

  • The Coffin: A 7'0 and 8'0 thruster for learning and cruising

  • The Dart: A 5'6 and 6'6 thruster for smaller days or sharper riders

  • The Drumstick: A 4'10 twin for groms

  • The Cleanskin: A finless 7'0 for sliding

Three fins for control, twinnies for speed, finless for feel. Where Drag leaves the supermarket foamies behind is the build: an EPS core, a triple stringer, a PE deck with SPER sub-deck reinforcement so it won't cave under your knees and an HDPE slick bottom that glides. 

Every board ships with fins too. The Coffin has swappable hard fins in FCS1 boxes. The Cleanskin has none by design.
