NNSS Fin Guide

NNSS Fin Guide

Stuck on which fins to get or looking to test out something new?

Here is our run down of some of the best - tailored to the wave and your skill.

EVERYDAY PERFORMANCE FINS

These are the fins for your everyday performance thruster. Ride them in anythingg from 2ft to 8ft and in any condition - you just can't go wrong. This is the fin you want to get if you're not sure where to start.

SMALL WAVE PERFORMANCE FINS

The Pivot and Reactor, being more upright, are going to allow tighter turns in smaller waves. They are generally best suited to smaller conditions and pair well with a performace short board or fish.

ADVANCED PERFORMANCE FINS

These fins are still going to work in a wide range of conditons but they definitely are geared to more speed control in steeper, more powerful waves. Both fins also encorporate carbon, which is a stiffer material than fibreglass. Carbon gives more control in critical surfing.   Recently, Kelly Slater proved the power of the Endorfins by winning Pipeline with them.

SINGLE FINS

Perfect for those mushier summer days. If you're interested in fun and fast down the line surfing, these are the fins for you. In particular, the Greenough 4A is the original and most versatile. It's the Toyota of longboard fins.

TWIN FINS

Looking for something different? Twin fins provide more speed and flow to your turns. They are best ridden in more open waves, like a point break or slower summer waves.   The Britt Merrick's are best paired with the CI Twin Fin.
