CONSTRUCTION

Performance Glass (PG)

Performance glass fins are machine cut from layers of solid fiberglass. These fins are stiff and widely used by pro level surfers due to the integrity of the flex maintained under immense force, and in the most extreme of conditions and situations.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Founded in 1995, in a humble backyard on Sydney’s northern beaches, FCS was born out of the revolutionary idea of creating screwless surfboard fins. This simple concept went on to change the way we build and ride surfboards forever. Removable fins allowed surfers to customise the performance of their surfboard by having the ability to test different fin templates.

FCS has set the standard for surf hardware products for over a decade! FCS aim to continue a creative and sustainable approach in everything they do. 1% of all sales are donated to the preservation of our oceans and to support awareness and activism around environmental issues. 50% of FCS Glass flex Fins are made from regrind material. FCS are also doing their part by using recycled packing for their fins. Using paper-based pulp trays (made from old newspapers) and a recycled PET plastic sleeve.
