Our Boards of the Moment

NNSS x Gong Gurfers Reading Our Boards of the Moment 3 minutes Next The Perfect Weekend in Gerringong

These are the latest boards you NEED to know about, as reviewed by our Surf Buyer and GM, Ryder.

Inferno 72

INFERNO 72

"For myself, not being a regular high performance short-boarder, the Inferno 72 caught my eye when it won Stab in the Dark and had continued praise and reviews in the months that followed so I thought I would give it a try. Coming off bigger boards I went for the 6'2 at 32 litres. It still paddles great and there is so much continuous drive and speed from it. I've definitely had some of my best cutbacks with this board."

Ryder pairs his Inferno 72 with the JJ2 Large Techflex Thruster.

HIHP Thunderbolt

"This is the board that never leaves my car, or my brother Taj's (pictured). Both of us have sworn that if we were stuck on a desert island we would take the HIHP Thunderbolt Black and a set of Harley Ingleby Thrusters. Realistically there isn't a board out there that performs so well on such a wide scope of waves. Honestly, it's literally just the best longboard."

Critical Slide Hermit

"Everybody needs a mid-length in their quiver. The Hermit does that, in style. A more experienced surfer could have fun on this in small to medium waves on slower days, but for any new surfer, if sized properly, could learn on this board and keep it in their quiver forever."

Mashup

"The Mashup is the everyday short board that's going to catch heaps of waves. This is a recipe where Dan Mann and Rob Machado have combined their two best meals (the Spitfire and the Seaside). The Mashup has taken what Dan learnt from The Dominator, The Spitfire, The Almond Butter &  The Dominator II, and infused it with Rob's special herbs and spices from The Seaside to produce this. It's an everyday shortboard with a wide wave range and extra paddle power that everyone has loved from this series."

Next drop of Mashup's due in April.  Email contact@naturalnecessity.com.au if you can't find your size.

Did you know that the Mashup was built with Kelly Slater's 'Endorfins' in mind?    If you're grabbing a Mashup, you will want to grab some of these also if you want it to reach its full potential.
