FEATURES

5 fin setup (can be ridden as 3/4/5)

The Holy Grail is a model that sits a little above the Hypto Krypto in terms of ability to perform tight critical moves in the pocket.

It is a board that your average surfer can ride and catch a lot of waves, but experienced surfers can also push this board into some very high performance waves and manoeuvres.

Future Flex Construction

The Holy Grail is suited to surfers who can comfortably pop up on every wave, travel down the line and are working on progressing their turns. This is not a beginner model.

As it's an everyday model the volume under your chest gives great paddling power, allowing you to catch a lot of waves.

The Holy Grail will shine in all conditions, even on shore slop, so long as there is a bit of punch in the wave to activate the side cuts throughout the tail.

CONSTRUCTION: FUTURE FLEX CONSTRUCTION

FutureFlex represents the very latest in surfboard technology and design. The construction process combines a stringerless, high-density custom shaped EPS core laminated with biaxial fiberglass, epoxy resin and a parabolic carbon fiber frame. The carbon fiber frame within the laminate is the key to the performance of these boards. Designed to maximize speed and drive while minimizing twisting, FutureFlex boards essentially store and release energy as the surfer transitions through a turn. The result is a fast and lively, highly responsive surfboard that's perfectly geared for high performance surfing.

ABOUT THE BRAND

In 1996 on Sydney’s northern beaches, at the age of 15 Hayden Cox shaped his first string of surfboards from his parent’s backyard for himself, school friends and a few local surfers. Slapped on the top right of each craft, was an ill-formed HS symbol that was soon defined into a well-rounded Haydenshapes logo, thus a brand was created.
