A good wave catcher, the Channel Islands Water Hog is a mini-longboard that bridges the gap between a performance hybrid and a longboard. It has a low entry rocker for trimming and enough tail rocker to stay high performance. Bottom goes from flat entry with concave, to vee out the tail. For surfers of all skill levels who want to ride a ton of waves without riding a longboard.
TLPC takes this performance to the next level combining Surftech's proprietary water resistant, fused cell foam core, high density thermogormed inner skin, layers of hand laid fiberglass, carbon fiber and epoxy resin to create a technologically superior board. The result is a board that is significantly lighter and more durable than the traditional polyurethane board. The combination of materials and advanced engineering creates a board with controlled dynamic flex, resulting in a board that performs better in every kind of condition and is responsive, faster and more agile than its traditional counterpart.

ABOUT CHANNEL ISLANDS SURFBOARDS
Channel Islands Surfboards was created by Al and Terry Merrick in 1969. From his birth, Britt spent his days in the factory by the beach in Santa Barbara, from toddling around blanks to sweeping out shaping rooms. Eventually he started shaping alongside his father Al in 1990.
He is now the lead shaper and designer for CI and carries on the family tradition of developing high performance board designs collaborating with the world’s greatest surfers. From Tom Curren, to Dane Reynolds, Channel Islands continues to evolve with the highest standard of surfing.
