FEATURES

5 fin setup (can be ridden as a 5/4/3)

Wider nose, fuller outline up front, and parallel rails create a large stable platform through to middle to generate speed.

The tail outline tapers so you can make tighter radius turns when you position your back foot right on the tail. The swallow tail also adds bite especially in smoother conditions.

The return of the original step deck! This feature increases volume through the spine and out towards the rails, creates a flatter deck, while allowing for a lower, more sensitive feeling rail.

Single-to-double concave delivers a very consistent and predictable feel, without restricting speed or the ability to transition quickly from rail-to-rail between turns.

PU construction

The 3 stage rocker is well balanced, with just enough flip in the entry to prevent nose-diving in steeper waves. The flatter mid section maintains forward drive and flow. Moderate curve out the tail presents the opportunity to really jam a nice turn when pushing harder off your back foot.

Added volume to this model, under the chest and extending towards the nose and tail. This provides amazing paddle power so you can get into waves early.

Renowned for its wave catching prowess, this model really does appeal to a wide demographic. It’s the perfect board if you’ve just started turning and you want to progress to the next level of performance.

RECOMMENDED FINS

We recommend any of the FCS II Performer Fins.

CONSTRUCTION: PU Construction

PU surfboards are constructed from polyurethane blanks and use traditional materials and laminating techniques to produce strong, and reliable boards with high quality finishes. Polyester boards are CNC milled from shapers files and laminated by hand, using quality fiberglass which is known for its strength to weight ratio, resin and foam. Polyester boards have been at the forefront of performance surfing for years now, featuring progressive flex pattern controlled by a high-grade timber stringer, and feel reliable under the feet. Polyester construction performs well in all surf conditions and be adapted to suit a wide variety of surfboard models and lengths.

CONSTRUCTION

Helium Technology

Helium blanks are shaped from the lightest EPS foam core available, just 360 grams, and have special rails crafted especially for Helium boards made from Paulownia wood, which is a very light, fine-grained and warp resistant hardwood, and Balsa, another fast-growing, lightweight, and light-coloured wood. The top and bottom deck are wrapped in sandwich cloth and wrapped in a high-density aerospace composite material is used for the decksin. Using entropy bio-resin throughout, which replaces petro-chemicals with bio-based materials for an environmentally friendly epoxy.
